Kick Up Your Creativity in 2019 Workshop

Start 2019 inspired and full of new approaches to dreaming up your best story! Whether you are published or yet-to-be published, writing a novel, picture book, or graphic novel, ALL are welcome and will benefit from this magical Saturday retreat.

The class will be a warm and supportive environment to help you discover your most creative self and guide you in establishing better creative practices for the new year. You’ll learn how to use Tarot cards, Misfortune Tellers, and other fun and constructive tools to open your imagination and further develop your story (or the story you’ve been dreaming of writing).

The workshop will be held at John’s house on the banks of the lovely Eno River near downtown Hillsborough. A healthy lunch will be provided. For any who are interested, we can go out and enjoy a group dinner after class.

To save your spot, contact John. Spots will fill quickly.

What past participants have to say about John’s workshops and retreats:

“I guarantee students will come away with tangible results and ideas around their work. And, perhaps most importantly, John’s classes are just plain fun!”

“John has a special focus on creativity - ways to tap into it and mine it for ideas in your own work. John brings to his classroom a combination of professionalism and big-heartedness that keeps me coming back to his classes year after year."

“I wrote two manuscripts that never left the rough draft phase. I realized what was missing from my brainstorming process when I took John's class. He inspired my imagination and I came up with an idea in his workshop that has become my third novel. I love it so much that editing is fun!”
